My husband and I just got a boxer puppy, he's VERY young, about 5 weeks, and has been given the "okay" by the vet about a week ago. We just brought him home Wednesday, and he's been doing great! Neither of us have ever had a boxer before, so I feel like an over-protective mama questioning every little thing... I also don't want to run him to the vet every time I have a question.
This morning he had eye boogers that were thick and yellow. The weather has been changing and he's been spending a little more time outside. We live in the hill country and I'm thinking it might be allergies, but I wanted to make sure it's not a sign of something more serious. He also has a tiny bump on the rim of his right eye that looks a little like a pimple, but I've been keeping a close eye on it and it doesn't look swollen, and hasn't gotten any worse. Any ideas?
