yea we are giving him a 1 a day booster vitamin by HARTZ it seems to help a lil he hates them tho cause he isnt much for swallowing pills but he takes them....we have dipped him 2 times once for the front half and once for th back..the vet wanted us to do it everyday and it was too awful smelling and there were alot of bad reports about it so we are going to do him every 10 days...he would cry with the dips so i hate doing it...the canidae and the vitamins together hopefully they will boost him some...

Why are you even doing the dips at all? Instead of the Hertz, you could try the Missing Link...from what I've read, it actually tastes good to dogs...some people I think have even added a little water to their food and apparently it makes a gravy.
I personally would not do the dips for a couple of weeks and see if the food and vitamins work.
There have been people that they work for, but IMHO I would not use them except for a last resort since there have been so many negative reports on them.

yea the vet wanted them everyday this will be his second dip today we decided on every 10 days...the vet we have is a great vet and wouldnt want to harm our puppy so we are trying to listen to him no matter how hard it is...he seems healthier and more active but with the heat he is definitely less active...his hair does kinda seem to be coming back in spots...i just wish he would get better and all these medications would go away because we have another dog on medications too she is just on a prescibed shampoo for a rash but this is a pain of course with 2 dogs on meds...thanks for helping every1 hopefully this clears up soon...
