Missing my girl so much

My baby is away at boot camp and I miss her so much, se was supposed to come home Thursday, even though me and the GF twice drove down to pick her up because we missed her so much only to turn around and say we're being crazy. Now the trainer wants to keep here another 5 days (which doesn't add to the cost) he has somethings set up that he wants to do with her.
I guess I'm OK with it but I did cry the other day thinking about her its pretty sad when a 250lb guy gets all teary eyed over not seeing his dog for 2 weeks. I hope she doesn't think we abandoned her, I know shes a dog but I wish I knew what was going through her head. Gawd I miss her....

What's boot camp? Is it like a training school? I'm sure she's having a ball anyway.

Its a training school but shes not there for training, her training and obedience is exceptional. But around other dogs shes a nightmare. Shes never been socialized, she was abandoned on the streets at 10 months, we rescued her and we've never been successful intergrating her with other dogs. I've spent $1000s in training and she listens well but she bullies other dogs and we can never let her play wth other dogs because of that so this was our last chance to give her a dogs life back before we just give up and say she'll never be able to play with dogs. There are 2 boxers in my neighborhood she plays with rarely but other than that shes a loner. She spends 24hrs a day with me we take her everywhere, shes an awesome dog but I feel like shes missing out on so much not playing with other dogs so this was the last chance.

Awww. I'm sorry your missing your little girl. Just think of all the kisses you'll get when she returns home!!! Your a wonderful person saving her life and giving her a second chance at life. You get two big thumbs up for trying so hard with her and not giving up.

The trainer sounds wonderful, if he's wanting to keep her for some extra days at no cost. Keep us updated on her return, have my fingers crossed that everything works out for you guys!!!

BTW, I completely feel your pain....I feel bad for one of my dogs who isn't very dog friendly. His brother always gets to play with other dogs and go to Petco and I feel just awful for him, but were also working on that!!

Just found out

Shes coming home tomorrow!!!!!!!

I'm so excited, I'm going out to buy her a new bed and a few toys. The only one who is a little t'd off will be my cat, she's loved having the place all to herself where she can lay and not be bothered in rooms she hasn't been in in over a year. Oh welll back to the bedroom hiding for her.
