Missing a member of The Crew in Oklahoma

Just my 2 cents:

Have you gotten the police involved other than filing a report and have they questioned the neighbor you were having problems with ( the fence/gate incidence)?. I think that is where you should be concentrating your efforts. I doubt she will be in a shelter if she was stolen. Since the guy that damaged your gate had to pay you money he probably took the dog as a way to get his money back - either to keep or resell. I would keep a real close eye on your neighbors friends and start following them home. They may be driving a different car.

I live in Oklahoma, land of "it's just a dog". The police drag their feet on such things. I have been watching the neighbors pretty closely, and it just frustrates me more. The vet clinics have posters up in lobbies, and her microchip info is on record (which is not mentioned on the poster - deliberately). I keep hoping that someone, at some time, will take her to a clinic. I keep watching the shelter here in town, and the one on Ft Sill, just in case.

At this point, I feel that all the police report does for me is saves me fines *IF* she ends up in the city shelter. The police don't care.

I am sorry to hear your police have that attitude. I figure stolen property is stolen property. Maybe if you become a squeaky wheel with them they will give you more assistance (oil) - worth a try.

each day things seem to be a little easier to deal with, but still hard. George and Mindy liked to sleep with my son and Lillie & Emma with me - now he has no dogs to sleep with. :(

I have forced Lillie to go out and play a few times, mainly because I cannot stand to see her moping around the house. Emma has gotten more clingy to all of us - even the 20lb kitty. She whines and barks (that hound bark of hers) if she cannot find us.

Still no sightings of Mindy.

I am sooooo bummed for you and your family!!! I don't know how to be able to get ahold of you or you of me!! I would love to help you and your son look for your baby! I know that i just got a new boxer from the pound...shes brindle...when i saw that a member of The Crew was missing I started calling her Mindy, just to make sure, then I realized that Mindy is Fawn...I'm so dorky sometimes!! Buying land and building outside of town would be a good idea, we have often thought about it! I hope that your Mindy gets home soon and I will keep my eyes out on my side of town. Post if you need anything!!!

Hi, Where in Oklahoma are you? I live in a small town in central south east (if that makes sents). I am 32 miles from Ft. Smith Ark. I get a lot of calls on found boxers from all over. Everyone around this area knows to call me if they lose or find a boxer. I will keep my ears and eyes open. I am truely sorry about both your loses. Do not give up Mindy is out there waiting for you to find her and bring her home. Jazzy,Bojax and Maggie send their wiggles and kisses.
