OMG..we're so sorry for you and your son. Poor little dude, it's not his fault. This is my deepest fear that someone would take one of our girls out of our yard. We've padlocked the fence, but try to never let them out alone. But like your little guy sometimes nature calls. Tell him to be strong and he did a great job giving a description to the Police.

I see there's been no word from you lately on Mindy, I guess you're still out searching for her. Some people can be so cruel and if they took her to get back at you for the fence ordeal, well that's pretty crappy. Sounds like you need to move to a different neighborhood asap to get away from these wacky people for you, your son and your dogs' sake. We dont want any of you hurt. I know your son feels like it's his fault, but IMO he did a heck of a job describing that car- that's great description for a "quick glance" especially when you're all shaken up over something like this. Be sure to contact neighboring towns (they make take her to a vet out of city) and if there is a OK state board try to post info. there, maybe they will try to take her out of area where they think you wont find them/her. I agree that it sounds like they were waiting you/son out, sucks there are such wackos out there. Good Luck, and hope Mindy comes home soon.!!

I also live in a pretty shady neighbourhood. Someone was actually shot dead about a month ago in the house behind mine. And the Family that still lives there has been eyeing up my puppy asking lots of questions about him. My biggest fear is having him stolen which could very well happen around here. But I also think you should offer a large award for her return people usually are stealing him for the money. About a week ago my friends am staff dog went missing. He put up posters with a $1000 reward needless to say he got him back 2 days later. So if you can afford it definately offer a reward. I hope she finds her way back soon.

I just caught this thread and I am so shocked. I am so sorry that some horrible person took your baby! I will say a prayer for her safe return and for the creep that took her to be caught and severely punished!! Best of luck, we are all thinking of you and praying for Mindy!!

OMG! I can't imagine that someone would come on your property and take your dog! I know that it happens but I just can't believe it! Your poor son must feel bad but it's not his fault! We can't be everywhere at all times. There are some heartless people out there.
