WHO would steal someone elses pet?? This is beyond me... I cannot understand what kind of person would steal a dog out of your own backyard!! I hope that you are able to find her. Mindy and your family will be in my prayers and thoughts. I am so angry and upset for you.

Unfortunately there are alot of sick people out in our world that wouldn't think twice about some type of revenge so I wouldn't be surprised if the people who ruined your gate were involved. I really hope the police are able to help more and congrads to your son for being so observent I hope his information on the car will be helpful. It does sound like you need to move out of that area I wish you the best and I will pray for your babys safe return. It is a evil cruel world that we live in and unfortunately we feel that we have to baracaide ourselves to be safe. I just hope that someone out there will have a ounce of love in their heart and return your baby.

I am so sorry that your little pup was stolen right in your own yard. I agree, it certainly sounds as though it was someone familiar with your neighborhood, and had been watching your house for the perfect moment to perpetrate the crime. Your son did an excellent job in describing the car, and it should be easier to spot because of the black hood. Since your pup is microchipped, I would also call all the vets and shelters in your area to let them know what has transpired. Saying a little prayer in hopes that you soon find your little furbaby. Man, I am so sorry to hear someone stole your little girl. That's so heartbreaking. Maybe you did in fact see that car in your neighborhood in the past. If you did, would it be worth offering a reward for safe return of the Mindy? From the way you have described these people, they may go for some $$. How awful to be in this situation...

I'm sorry Mindy was taken. I hope she is found safe. Do you think offering the person who damaged your property a "reward" equal to what he had to pay might shake loose some info? I would also put padlocks on the gate.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I know how you feel, we've had the same thing happen, and my baby is still missing. Don't give up hope, though, miracles happen. Your son is certainly observant and did a great job of getting a description. I'm sure there aren't many cars that fit that description, so that's a very positive thing.

The police can check to see if any of the neighbors have those types of cars registered to them. In the mean time, walk every day and call for your baby. If she hears you, she'll let you know.

We're keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. Buddy sends nub wiggles and lots and lots of positive "find Mindy" vibes!!!

Ditto what everyone else has said. I am so very sorry that someone took Mindy. And right from your yard, I can't believe the nerve!! You're son did an awesome job describing the car! I would make sure that you contact all the shelters and vet offices in the area. The shelters should give the info to the animal control officers who drive around everyday I would think. I too think it's very possible that your neighbors have something to do with this given what you've said earlier. I will keep your family and Mindy in my prayers and hope for a fast and safe return.
