as far as staking out my house, it is entirely possible. Since the day I moved in, my lovely neighbors have had an problem with staying out of my yard. I had a man outside my bedroom window one of the first nights I had Lillie, and her growling with her head on my chest woke me up. I have my window fans right there, and I could smell cigarette smoke. I got out of bed and let Lillie out the back door - seconds later I heard "Oh S***!" and Lillie going nuts.....and someone running through my yard and out my gate. This incident is why my friends and I decided our future plans of buying land out of town needed to happen sooner rather than later and we closed on it last week. Now we need to build the house out there, and we will be out of this awful neighborhood.

I just caught this thread and I am so so sorry that those creeps took your baby!! My Bella is only 6 months old and I can't imagine what you are going through. Do the police seem to be making any kind of effort on finding her? Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I send you and your son ((hugs)). I sure hope she is home soon! Have you distributed all of Mindy's information to all the vet offices that you can find? Chances are they will take her to the vet at some point. It can't hurt to have them aware of it.
