missing - 3 large bagels - details to follow at 10

How do they eat so much in such a short period of time!!!! :mad:

I threw three frozen cheese and japaleno bagels in the trash tonight and then came upstairs to swap the laundry. I was gone maybe 5 mins, I come downstairs to an empty bagel bag on the floor (Mac is a master of fishing things out of the trash) and the three bagels nowhere to be found. I have looked everywhere, and I can't believe that he chomped through THREE frozen bagels. They were hard as rocks!

He's already been sick once, but the vet says probably just cause he's too full. Gonna be a busy night around here...'visiting' and 'revisiting' the bagels, and keeping him calm...:eek:

Yikes. The trouble these boys get into...I have a selective memory...Princess was a perfect pup.

I made mac & cheese today & didn't eat 1/2 of it so I threw it away. I took a shower & Harley decided to eat it all; and of course I didn't realize it until he threw it all up 15 minutes later. He was vomiting for 3 hours afterwards, poor guy, but he's better now.

They get into everything!

Bosco ate a whole loaf of bread once in about 5 minutes (while I was out in the laundry room). We had fun that night. :rolleyes:

My Adolf(at the bridge) ate a dozen hard rolls once.
We were unloading the van after grocery shopping, he jumped in and ate away.His stomach blew up and he looked ready to burst. The vet said to keep him crated and limit the water.
He was fine and back to mooching later that evening.

Oh no Mac your going to have a sore belly. Benson has a new trick simular to this except he does not take anything out of the garbage. I have one of the garbage cans with the foot pedal that you step on and the lid lifts up. Well when Benson see you put something in the garbage he waits a few minutes then runs to the garbage, steps on the pedal and looks in the garbage then walks away! It is kind of cute!

So Mac what did you think of jalapeno peppers... kind of spicy? I hope your feeling okay today, Benson sends hugs and slobber kisses.

Thanks guys! It's nice to know that not only do I need a lidded trash can, but that I apparently need to keep it out of reach (since they learn to open them). I haven't had this problem with Hammer, but forewarned is forearmed!!

My little dog once got some Jalapenos (coated with pepperoni from a pizza) from the trash. She wouldn't take food from us for a month after that.

so far kneesaa is too short to get into the trash!!! hehe... and i also try to move it to different locations every once and awhile...it confuses her...hehe...it my only defense!! but she does love the trash in the bedroom and the bathroom... b/c its in those little buckets :rolleyes:

Sometimes, I give Rowdy table scraps. He loves the ones that are covered with Pace Picante Sauce, but it gives him gas. I usually give him scraps in the morning so I can breath easy in bed.:p

Was I ever smiling reading these ah the lover of boxers & they say dogs don't remember anything. Ha Ha guess whoever wrote those books, didn't own a boxer. I have tow boxers & can always tell when they're up to something. The femal runs to me looks then runs away then repeats the whole process again, so that means COME HERE MOMMY ALI IS UP TO SOMETHING & there he is eating jelly donuts. Now when I say to my husband I'm going to get some donuts, Ali wags his tail. Of course, he didn't get anymore after that.
