Miss Stella's retirement

I haven't been on this forum for quite a while, but this is the place that got me started on really learning how to care for a dog, especially my little boxer mix, Stella, so I thought I'd announce her retirement here. I had dogs before, but with the advice from Boxer World, I really took it to a new level. As a result, I became a total dog crazy person. Stella and I have done AKC and UKC rally and obedience, and AKC, TDAA, and NADAC agility. She is now retired at age almost 7 after a diagnosis of "loose kneecaps" with the grand sounding titles of:

UCD URX UROC Stella CD RAE AXP AJP NFP TACH NAC

She was the fifth mixed breed dog to earn the AKC RAE title, and was ranked #35 in UKC for URO3 (Rally 3) in 2011.

She is still a crazy wild woman who loves to roughhouse with her lab mix brothers and demands my total attention (when she wants it). I treasure every moment!

That's pretty impressive! It's too bad that she had to retire.

I will still let her do some non-jumping agility in NADAC and maybe enter a few local Rally trials. She doesn't like to sit anymore, though, so rally may be out for good. She exceeded even my loftiest goals, so she gets to be the princess she always knew she was!

Good thing she doesn't have to learn to spell all her titles!! Very impressive. Great job to both of you!! Guess the princess will be spoiled in retirement.
