Boxer Buddy
Hi guys,
What a scare i had gotten on xmas eve morning. We had travelled to our home out in Rural Newfoundland to spend xmas with my family. On that morning murphy was out in the yard(which is 3 acres) with her dad running about and being watched very careful when her grand dad appeared, upon him leaving she had chased him out the drive which he did not see and at the same time another truck was coming down the road and hit her. Mean while i am in the house totally unaware of what is going on outside until DH had brought her in the house in his arms. I was absolutely mortified, crying upset etc. Now bare in mind it is xmas eve and the nearest vet is 1 hour away so i called and got the pager, so here i am awaiting for the vet to call back. we examed her and everything was intact no broken bones, but alot of cuts and abrasions. i was then concerned about internal injuries, still no call from vet, so i proceeded to take her to the local hospital. They examed her and all is well. I am now back to the city and she visited the vet here and was given the all clear. What a little tough girl i have. Thank god the truck driver was going real slow and he was also so concerned. I am so happy she is fine, she was sore and stiff for about an hour, only joking you know how boxers are so hyper ha ha but she is back to here normal self. She is celebrating her 1st birthday today. God love her.
