well, i have done everything i can think of to keep my brutie out of our food, but he is so persistent. he gets in our trash constantly, you think he would stop with all the poop ectomy's we have to perform. poor guy! so now our trash is on our counter, which i think is absolutely disgusting....well, since he can't get into our trash, his new thing is opening our bread drawer, and eating all of our bread. what am i going to do with him!!!!????

Firstly very cute avatar! Also we have the garbage on the counter as well so you're not alone. Do you have a baby gate you can put up to keep him out of those areas when you don't want him there? That's what we do to nosy boys who can't stay out of trouble!

Can you not put it in the cupboard, like under the sink. You can also put a child proof lock on the door. Maybe you could put a child proof lock on the bread bin too. :)

both are extremely great ideas. we will probably be doing both, especially since i am preggers with our first child.

Ha! well you can just add a little doggie proofing to that baby proofing list then! Congrats on the skin baby how excited you must be! I have 3! :)

LOL..sorry I just keep getting this picture of brutie touring the kitchen, humming to himself, and looking for his next snack. Before you know it, he will have figured out how to open the fridge and make a sandwich! What a smart baby you have.

We have the kind of garbage can that has a lid that you step on the pedal to open. Does that make sense?

We have that too. It is big stainless steel from bed bath and beyond. The lid is heavy so Bradlee cannot lift it. Also if it did get knocked over, it won't open. I would also invest in the baby locks on the drawers. You can buy these magnetic ones... very cool :)

i had the same problem with the dog in the trash. We first attempted to get a can with a lid...didn't work. she somehow managed to get it open. We then tried putting the trash under the sink...it WORKED!!! The worst part about putting trash in a closed space is that it can stink if you'd put a dirty diaper or an empty can of something in it....the sticky air freshners work pretty well though! :D
