Miles finally gave into the Lymphoma

After a 4 month battle with type T Lymphoma, my 7 year old male, Miles, lost today. The Madison-Wisconsin protocol put him into remission for about 2 months and then he did good on Lumustine for about 45 days. After that we got a little longer with him on something else before the last week the Prednisone kept him in fairly good spirits. Finally today at the park he wandered over to some shade under a tree and let me know it was time. The folks at Bay Area Vet Specialists were world class and if you live in the Bay Area and are unfortunate enough to have to go through some kind of cancer the folks at BAVS will take great care of him. I will miss my friend
