Metacam anyone use it before

Our boxer is limping and our vet gave him metacam, after reading the instructions I am a little nervous about giving it to him, anyone else ever give it to their boxer?

I've used Metacam on Gretel for almost two years now. Haven't had a single problem.

I used Metacam on Markus for a long time and he never had any problems. I wouldn't worry especially if it just over the short time.

Thank you for replying I was so nervous about giving it to him, but he is in a little bit of pain right now.

I am giving it to Duke for his limp. So far I haven't had any problems. He did have 3 accidents so I think it is making him drink more. Or it could have been from when they sedated him and gave him a pain shot.

Isis was on Metacam after her surgery to have a tooth out and she did really well on it- really easy to give to them. It is also great to control arthritis pain in older dogs.
