I thought this would be the perfect place to post this question. I am new to BoxerWorld, I just posted my introduction on the Intro board. I have a new 13 week old puppy that is the light of my life...I've been mixing her breakfast kibble with a little wet food and it seems like I am picking up kibble everywhere! LOL I know with my other boxer he'd get food trapped in those jaws but my little Sabrina will get a bit then drop about 5 pieces on the floor....she'll take a bite and go in different directions. It seems I am sweeping, mopping, vacuuming 3 times a day! LOL Does anyone have a idea on keeping things clean? I have those raised water and food bowls for when she gets a little older to help against bloat. I hope it's just the puppy stage :)

Sorry to dash your hopes but Tess still eats like that now and Belle is following suit. I had also hoped it to be the puppy stage but 3 years later I'm still waiting. Tess's speciality is bonio biscuits all over the lounge carpet especially then it's just been vaacumed.foolicon

Same thing here. Brighid is 3 now and still spits kibble out on the floor as she eats. She gets about 5 or 6 pieces of food in her mouth then walks around the house spitting pieces out. She will only eat about 1/2 of what she took. Generally she leaves the food there too, sometimes she will go back about an hour later and start "grazing" all over picking up her food.

:D Hannah does the same thing. And then she will not eat any of the kibble that goes on the floor. :D So then the cat will try to sneak over and eat it off the floor. With the cat being diabetic we can't let her eat any so we end standing by Hannah until she's done and then cleaning up her mess.

I'm hoping the new pup does not pick up this habit ( not holding my breath)
