Do some research and Read the RULES of this site.
First of All, breeding is taking VERY seriously here, and should only be done to better the breed.. Any other reasons (money, you, family members or friends wanting puppies cuz your dogs have "such great personalities", MONEY) are NOT acceptible.
Backyard breeders are not welcome here. :mad:
Second.. any dog/bitch that you are planning to breed should be shown to their AKC championship, or atleast be evaluated by knowledgeable boxer show breeders/judges to see if they even meet the breed standard, and are worthy of being breeding specimens.
Third, your dog is WAAAAYYYYYY too young to be breeding, and I am assuming since this is your bitch's first heat, that she is too. They are still puppies. (which can explain why your dog doesn't know what to do.. )
Fourth, proper health testing for genetic diseases that boxers are VERY prone to can only be properly done at 2yrs plus. These are tests that most Vets cannot do... you need to get certified by OFA. (you should at the minimum, be testing for Heart, Hips and Thyroid)
If you are not willing to do all these things which would make you a responsible breeder, than please, do not breed your pet dogs. Breeding is so much more than just pairing a bitch in heat and an unaltered dog together! So much goes into showing, health/temperment testing, finding a perfect stud dog to match your bitch. It is obvious you do not know nearly enough about boxers to be breeding them. Please use this site and research research research. use the
SEARCH BUTTON and look up words like "responsible breeding" or "backyard breeders". I am sure you will find many insightful threads. In the mean time, schedule an appt to get your dogs fixed. Besides the tremendous health benefits for your dogs, you will also be helping out the boxer breed as a whole.. There are too many homeless, sickely, poorly bred boxers out there.. please don't add to that number by breeding your pets. If you do have friends or family members looking for boxers/boxer puppies, please direct them to one of the many overflowing boxer rescues (or look on Petfinder.com), or if they want a well-bred puppy, there are many many responsible/reputable breeders here in California who do show and health test their dogs.

ps. from previous posts, you said that your girl was a rescue that someone just dumped at your Petsmart, what a horrible thing to do. Please, for this very tramatic reason you shouldn't be breeding your dog.. you have not even had her for a year... PLEASE get her spayed... and, could you imagine how horrible it would be for one of her puppies to just get dumped somewhere because the owners you sold the pup to wasn't willing to take care of her anymore? And seeing as how you work at a Petsmart, shouldnt you realize how many dogs need homes? You guys do weekly dog adoptions! Please, do more research!!! :( for the sake of your bitch, and the boxer breed as a whole.
