I have tried Mangosteen juice for myself to help with Fibromyalgia. While I didn't notice any benefits, my friend is a distrubitor and uses it herself. She also has fibro and arthritis. She swears by it. It is highly touted as being a wonderful tonic for a great number of physical ailments. At the very least it would be beneficial for the antioxidents alone.....although a little on the pricey side! I never offerred it to Cami for anything but I wouldn't be past trying it if I thought it would provide a possibility for results.

I am a Xango fan. I have Parkinsons disease and have added Xango to mry "diet". I swear when I stopped I began having hallucinations annd other side effects from my Requip.
I talked to hubby about giving Tessa some - just had two tumors (insulinomas) and a lymph node removed.

I think what can it hurt??

Xango juice is wonderful! We offer it @ my poe for patients as a long-term addition to their diet. It often times takes months for the full effects to be noticed. However long, the results do happen, especially with neuromuscular disease and/or damage. Respiratory ailments also benefit greatly. There are multiple forums on the subject online-all seem to be people based, however. The key is to RESEARCH. The more you know, the better health choices you can make for your pup...

I've only heard of this recently. A friend of ours from Texas swears by it and sent us some to try along with a cd to listen to. We have only started on Saturday...too soon to see any results but it sounds like miracle juice. We will try it and see what happens. And it doesn't taste bad at all, almost like cranberry juice.

As far as giving it to Jesse or Spottie...I don't think I would. I wouldn't want to unknowingly hurt them, thinking I was doing good. I don't know enough about what's in it.

I have never had mangoosteen juice before. I am from Thailand so we eat mangoosteen as fruit. I remember my grandmother telling me that it was very good and healthful, unfortunately I did not pay attention, what it was good for. I love the fruit and can imagine drinking the juice but I have never seen one in the supermarket here in Singapore or in Thailand.

Marilyn-

I know we cant help but be protective - but I do have a friend who has been on the Xango (with her hubby) for 4 yrs nows.
I just have to be more disciplined and take it every day.

insulinomas

I forgot to ask - the xango and insulinomas - does the juice help regulate the sugar/insulin?
Tessa had surgery in Feb - and I am terrified they will return. Not enough pancreas left for more surgery. Everything I see gives about 18mnths for recurrance. I did meet a lady online whose dog went 13 yrs w/o reoccurrance
