Mange question

We are a little frustrated with this... Last night while at out Obedience Training class we were all notified that one of the dogs that was at the first class (on November 23) had Mange. He hasn't been to the class since. Does anyone know hoe long it takes for symptoms to start showing up?? Although we didn't let Madison play with the dog I am sure that they sniffed each other. She hasn't been itching or anything.

What type of mange did the other dog have. Demodex mange is not contagious. Sarcoptic mange is transmittable from dog to dog

He didn't say what type of mange it was. Just that the dog had it and that is was contagious... Should we be really worried since the exposure was 3 weeks ago??

I hated explaining to people every time we went to the dog park the Tyson's Demodex was not contagious!!!!

Thanks for the articles. I called the vet just to be sure and she said if no signs are showing up by now she is probably fine. They could go ahead and treat if I wanted to but I said no. She is still so young for those chemicals...
