Male or female companion for my boxer

Hi i am currently building a house and the house will be ready at the end of the year. When I do move in I am planning on getting another boxer. I currently have a 9 month old male boxer and he does real good at the dog park with box sex. I was just wondering which sex would be better for him because I have talk to a couple of breeders and they give me two different answers. They will say get a female because some boxer do not get along with the same sex, on the other hand I also hear that female boxer are more dominate and could be aggressive to my male boxer. So which sex do u think would be a better fit for roscoe and I??

A lot of times the females in the home will rule the roost (so to speak) but it isn't always the case. Age doesn't always matter, who was there first doesn't always matter. It will be up to them to determine (based on their personalities) who is the "top dog" in their eyes (after the humans).
Two males can get along, two females can get along just as a male and female pairing can be a nightmare however your less riskiest bet is to go with one of each sex.
