Boxer Pal
Sundance (3-5 years) whines whenever my girl Lulu (about 6-7ish) is in her watch dog mode inside the home. She usually gives me a warning bark and bolts outside to the backyard or to the window in the spare bedroom to check things out. He especially whines in the middle of the night when she hears something and goes outside to check it out but he usually does follow her. He will very, very rarely give warning barks or intiate this type of activity. He does love to bark in play though. I adopted him nearly a year ago and I adopted Lulu about 3 years ago. She seems to be queen of the castle inside and he seems to be king of the outside world. Why does he do that? Is he not confident, unsure, fearful? What? So I need to be concerned? If so, what can I do to bolster his confidence. It's really funny to see/hear this big lug whine while my lean delicate flower of a girl has the deep authoritative bark and posture. Thanks!
