Male Boxer Question

Please excuse my ignorance, but I have a weird question about male boxers. I am trying to decide whether to get a male or female. Do male boxers "private" show when they sit? I remember seeing male dogs like this and if this happens to male boxers, that would be the only reason why I would not choose a male.

Depends on what you mean by "private". Strictly the penis unsheathed? Or does that mean prominence of the whole area, irrespective that the penis is within its sheath?

In the former case, it depends on the dog. And on his excitement levels. Some unsheath the penis more than others, simple as that. Whatever the individual's propensity toward that, neutering will reduce the occurances. Likewise, neutering tends to "shrink" the prominence of the entire area.
