Major surgery tomorrow for a subarachnoid cyst!

Hoping and praying that Bosco's surgery went well.

Bosco made it through the surgery. The neurologist said the adhesion of the cyst was worse then what they had planned. They attacked it as aggressively as the could due to it's location. They removed some of the tissue that was adhered to the membrane and were able to drain the cyst and suture it open to surrounding tissue. It is too soon to tell if the surgery was a success or not. He will remain in the hospital for about a week. I appreciate all the kind thoughts and will update as to his progress.

Glad that your boy made it through surgery ok, Poor Bosco a whole week away from home and poor you with the worry of it all , we will be keeping our fingers crossed that it is sucessfull.

I hope and pray that his surgery is successful in the end. Sorry your guy had to stay at the vet for the week. Maybe they will let you see him if he does not get too excited. Or maybe they will call you a few times per day to let you know how he is doing. Prayers from me and my fur babies. Keep us posted we are with you in spirit.
