Macie needs a friend

My baby girl Macie is 7 months old, the only dog that she really has to play with is my parents older dalmation. They run and have a good time but I really wish she had another dog a little younger to be playmates with. how would you go about finding another boxer or dog period in you area to play with your dog? I just don't know how to go about finding a dog to play with Macie without looking silly.

There is a boxer bash and events board on here. What part of VA are you located at? I am in VA Beach. Have you tried you local dog park? I have meet a few people and playmates for my Zeus by just going for a walk at my local park.

We have a boxer bash planned in Alexandria for this coming Sunday. Depending on where you live, you should certainly try to attend! There will be tons of friends there for Macie to socialize with. Riley found all of her best friends at our local dog park. We go all the time and we both wound up making friends. Maybe try looking on your county or city website for the parks & recreation link. That is how I found the dog parks in my area.

I am from the salem, roanoke area. What time and where in alexandria is the boxer bash on sunday? I may try to do that. I am not sure that we have any dog parks around here

You can set up playdates on here as well as attend boxer bashes. What breed is better to play with a boxer than another boxer? Im trying to get a few members in the area to have a get together here in chesapeake. There is a large city park that is fenced in and dogs are allowed. If your interested let me know.
