I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have a good handle on teaching your kids about loss. It seems even in death Gus is still helping your kids grow and understand the losses in life. RIP Gus.

So sorry for your loss. Hopefully in time you will give another fur baby a home. We rescured our boxer almost 8 yrs ago and she has given us nothing but her unconditional love. She will be 11 in November and so far healthy as can be. We feel very fortunate that she has not had any of the boxer issues that so many have.
