lump that just appeared

Max has a lump or some kind of cyst like thing near his anus I saw it just this morning.It doesn't seem to bother him.Has anyonelse had this problem.It is red in color so its inflamed.I am just worried about my poor little guy.Please help.

Sounds like an anal gland that needs to be expressed. I would let the vet take a look asap before it becomes abcessed. If it's something else the vet can advise you also.

Not sure but he could need his anal glands expressed. I'd have a vet check it out to be sure, because Boxers have a tendancy to have tumors. Good luck.
