What a hoot Ginty must look! My old boy , Knight, used to open the back door , upend the laundry hamper, and steal his Dads jumper. He would scrunchit up into a tiny ball and put just his head on it:LOL: All my boxers sit on mine or any available feet. Boxers hate their bottoms on the ground. This may be why Ginty does it

Kailee too loves to steal the cushions from the sofa or off of our bed to lay on. She has also decided to take over the wicker chair in the living room as her siesta place during the day. Of course it has a thick soft cushion on it, so it is the perfect spot!!

it's an obsession!

my husband was in a serious accident back in november. when he came home we wanted to sleep together, like we always do, but we sleep in a twin bed and it couldn't accomodate the two of us, plus casts. so we took some twin mattresses from two beds and combined them on the floor to make a king bed. well, little did we know what this would cause.

daisy, our boxer, had before that had a bad habit of hopping on the bed if you left her alone near it. but then, with the bed only 2 feet tall, she could get on it while you were sleeping without moving the bed much. it started a war! all night i would wake up and find her passed out next to me, kick her off the bed, and go back to sleep, only to wake up in the morning with her back on the bed! finally, when the casts came off and we could go back to our old twin bed, my husband decide to stack the two beds on top of each other. at least that way daisy has to work hard to hop up.

she's really awful with dirty clothes, as well...pulls them off chairs and such to curl up on them, even if it's just one t-shirt.

Britany loves comfort too. She loves to lay with her head elevated. Pillows and arm rests being her favorite.
Loves to sit on feet and use them as a pillow also. One leg wrapped around the ankle and the other around your foot.
She will steal clothes to lay on also. The smellier the better!

Lucy's very funny about settling down for bed... She will try seven or eight different spots on the bed before she finally is satisfied and ready to sleep. If we're downstairs when she gets tired she'll go from one end of the sofa to the other, then to the chair, then to one end of the loveseat, then to the other end of the loveseat... It's really funny to watch her play 'musical chairs' before she settles. Usually she ends up sprawled on the floor anyhow! :) :) :)

Mack is the same way......heaven forbid if he even has to lay on the carpet in the house. He has pads in most rooms, chaise pads outside - one in the shade, one in the sun, one in the garage for when he is tethered out front while my husband works on the car or yard.
My female was exactly the same way. When I see how spoiled my dog is (and how much he demands it) I can't even imagine a Boxer left outside with a bowl of dry food every day.

Boxers are just bib babies who love their comfort. Pumpkin sleeps on the bed and Valentine on a bed made out of orthopedic foam on the floor (unless it's really cold, then she's on the bed). In the morning when i get up to take my shower i return to the room to find Valentine in "my spot" with her head on my pillow! They also love to sleep on the sofa and Val also likes to cuddle up in the recliner. When Val sleeps on the sofa she puts her head on one of the throw pillows. She knows exactly what a pillow is for!

LC is the same way....the floor is an insult to her! She also will not put her butt on the ground when she sits. I didn't notice anyone ever making a comment about this before though. She sits on down, with her feet under her, but never all the way!?!

Last week on our way home from a weekend away, Scarlet was curled up on the back seat of the Suburban. We had put a blanket on the seat but it was only half way under her. Well, she must have gotten chilly cause just when I turned around to look at her she was pulling the blanket up over her just like a human would do (only with her mouth of course). It struck me funny. They sure know what they like.
