Thank You for being such a good mommy to Ali. One who could appreciate her sweetness and enable her to be the best she could be.
Many of us have experienced the heartbreak and loss you feel, you are not alone. :(
RIP sweet Ali angeliconangeliconangelicon
PS send us a picture now and then. You live in a beautiful area. :)

I am not physically able to rear another active boxer puppy which makes me even sadder because I have come to love this breed so much. .

There are lots of quiet older boxers that desperately need new homes. I don't know if there is a boxer rescue in Newfoundland. There must be a dog rescue of some sort. There may become a time when you need to fill your home with the pitter patter of boxer feet. I can imagine how empty your house feels.

Thinking of you in this time of sadness! hugicon

Thank you for that. Ms. Ali was quite an active boxer and like all boxers needed lots of exercise. and I loved hiking with her and winter and summer we were on the go. She was such a happy girl. I have such great memories. I will be posting from time to time.

Thanks Jan. There are several dog rescues groups here and recently Boxer Canada had a boxer available in Newfoundland. Our family has always been open to adoption. My daugher and her husband adopted a blind dog when noneone else would look at her and had her for 9 years until she passed this past May with Cancer. They just rescued a cat. I always said I would want to get an older boxer if I ever got one again. Right now I cannot even think about it and because Ms. Ali had such a great disposition and although she was 7 when our first granddaugher arrived she was such an amazing dog around the little ones. That would be my no. 1 concern. The three little ones spend so much time back and forth that I would have to be very careful in choosing any dog. Ms. Ali spoled me. She was the best. My sweet sweet girlie.

Thank you for that. Maybe someday a boxer will find me just as Ms. Ali did even though she was a pup I had never planned on getting a boxer. The best decision off my life. Maybe she will send one to me when the time is right.

I have a post in the Rainbow Bridge thread from 2 years ago when I lost my best friend in the world Blaze and me and my wife both believe he sent Daisy to us.

So sorry that you lost your sweet Blaze. I remember seeing posts about him. I will definitely have a look for that now. Thanks.

Ms. Ali has is much remembered. Sammie and I watched her through it all. I admit, I shy away from the "rainbow bridge" posts b/c I'm so scared for my 9 year old Sammie but we feel your pain and we have you in our thoughts. Ms. Ali was very special and still very remembered.

I never liked looking at the Rainbow Bridge either. It is is sad to learn that someones beloved pet has passed. Enjoy your Sammie and do not worry about tomorrow. “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.”
