Lousy Boxer parents [sorry, long post]

Quick update - as of Monday at 3:00 pm he was still there. Only one hr yesterday and then today to go. The shelter doesn't open until 12:00 so I can't check until then if he was picked up yesterday after I left. Also worrisome..darn shelter has expanded hours today so instead of between 12:00 and 4:00 pm the rat of an owner has until 6:00 pm to claim him. Wish me luck and I'll let you know tomorrow how it turned out.

I hope and pray that for not only your sake, but the boxer's sake that the low-life of an "owner" (if you can even say that) will not show his face today and sadly claim the dog. I wonder if the shelter can demand that the dog be microchipped, so if in fact the jerk comes up with the money this time and the boxer ends up in the shelter again, you can be contacted to come pick up your new addition. Sending you lots of <<good luck vibes>> and let us know what happens:)

Don't feel guilty at all for wanting him. It's obvious that the poor guy would be 100 times better off with you than with an ignorant man that plans on breeding a white boxer. Plus, if the guy can't even afford to get him out of the shelter, then how would he plan on affording vet bills and what not? I think if he can't afford all that, then he doesn't need the dog and you would be doing him a favor by taking the dog off his hands, even if the man doesn't realize the favor you're doing him.
