Does any one know what is / has happened to LaBR? The web site show that they had about 25 boxers available and that they were in New Orleans. New Orleans is taking a direct hit right now from the hurricane and is below sea level.......did they get the dogs out?

They got the dogs out and everybody is safe, not sure if Connie has a home to go back to, but she's OK.

Wonderful news! Has anybody heard anything from Boxer Rescue of Mississippi? I think they are based in Gulfport which was also in the path of the hurricane. From what I have heard, Gulfport was hit harder than New Orleans.

I'm not sure about the boxer rescues, but our local animal shelter has rec'd about 60 animals that were evacuated from shelters in the areas hit hard. Seeing as how we're practically in the middle of the state - I can only imagine how many animals have gone elsewhere.

Glad the La boxers got out ok - and praying for Connie's house.

Also sending vibes to Mississippi boxer rescue!!

Still no word on Stacey and Boxer Rescue of Mississippi? Anybody heard anything? Word is they got out before the storm but nothing since.
