I know my Gidget drinks ALOT of water also. (7 months old and 40#'s) and has always. My friend pep0987's dog Bailey has a little tiny water dish (over a year old and about 70 #'s) He doesn't drink nearly as much as Gidget. I think it just depends on the dog. Of course Gidget makes a huge mess when she drinks!! She holds as much in her jowls as she gets down her throat!!! Marcia
