lots of kisses and licks

My 3 month old female boxer loves to give kisses and licks. She licks my whole hands, then my whole arm, then elbow, and then my face. I dont mind the excessive love/licks, but is this normal. I use to have a mix shepard puppy and she never licked me this excessive. Im a clean guy (i hope,), take lots of showers(haha), and dont wear cologne. I know it couldnt be sweat, because its at a time i have not excersiced. I dont mind it, but I was just curious.

She is probably just that sort of girl They are all different. When we brought Layla home at 8 weeks of age she spent the entire trip in the car licking my face. She is now 9 years old is still just loves to lick. Bella will lick sometimes, Amy likes licking arms, and Ruben rarely licks, but likes a hug.

Heidi will only lick if she's really excited. She will lick me when I come home from work but she rarely licks my husband (it's almost as if she knows he doesn't like it). When my MIL comes over forget about it..she's covered with big wet smooches!!:D

Oskar isn't much of a kisser. He does give the occasional kiss usually I have to grab his mush and plant one on him!

Yep, my boy`s a licker!

My family (older brother, mom and dad) finally came to visit my little bundle of joy (they live in norway, and I live in Spain...), and they were showered with kisses from the moment they walked out of the car and until they left again..LOL

Fortunately they`re used to it. (Had a boxer a couple of years ago)

He usually stick to faces though.. Not so much arms and elbow..

I've heard Boxers are notorious kissers. My Sasha will lick you non-stop until you push her away. My George on the other hand, will give me a kiss maybe twice a year. However, licking is also a sign of submission. The more you scold them for it, the more they want to show you that they're submissive to you so they lick you more so you don't get mad at them which makes you scold them and... it can be a vicious circle.
I'm not sure how I'd handle it, maybe someone else on the list does, but keep this in mind as she "paints your face!"

My female (Shadow) likes to try and hold me down on the floor as she gets her licks in, but on the other hand my male (Bruiser) only gives kisses and licks on his own terms, he is so funny.

Jax loves his kisses. If I kiss hubby, Jax wants his also! And he loves to give hugs in his own way. Such a sweetie, he is!
