I am so sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for your loss.
My Bart just went to the vet( Banfield) yesterday for his 4th set of shots.
Time before he exibited a very bad allergy to shots. So after that i bring him around 8 A.M. and leave him there for a few hours.
Yesterday they called me around 2 PM said he is doing fine and i can pick him up.
When i looked at him his face started to swallow. I immediately called the doctor. She gave him some steroids. But i refused to leave before making sure he is OK.
They had to close ealier because it was a Christmas eve. So we walk around a Petsmart for an Hour.
Then i noticed he was getting hives all over his body and his face wasn't getting any better. Doctor gave him anoher set of steroid shots.
I took him home , but doctor specifically asked to watch him. If his gums turn pale , take him to emergency immediately and gave me a telephone number of the emergency clinic
Fortunately he improved very soon after that.
I learn to never trust any doctors/vets. Your pupy's health is more important then anybody's inconvinence.
I hope you find a new pet soon. I would suggest to use a different vet this time.
