Our local paper will run lost pet ads for free, yours may do the same.

Thanks for all the info. The only suggestion we haven't tried is TV and picture add in the newspaper, I will pass these along. My SIL (Michelle) went door to door with colored flyers (1000 of them). Does anyone have any good stories about lost dogs returning home after a few months. He's been gone since the beginning of January and she could really use some encouragement and hope. I feel certain that someone has him and they don't intend to return him as everyone in our whole county knows we have a dog missing. He is a runner and will come home if they ever leave their guard down. I just pray they are taking care of him.

I'm so sorry this situation has happened. Try to keep the faith. You just never know......here are a couple stories that were in the news...

The golden retriever in the second story was microchipped...That says alot.
Is Bull microchipped?

I sure hope Bullwinkle fnds his way home soon and in the meantime he is with someone who is at least taking care of him.

I do remember a boxer on here (Frog) who was missign for a long time and was a far amount of distance away but she made it home. Hope the same happens for your family.

I remember frog’s story too. Unfortunately that thread was deleted but I believe she was missing around 80 days. She was eventually located approx 60miles away. Someone brought her into a vet’s office and the vet contacted the original owner via her microchip. It seemed that Frog was cared for by a new family because she had a different collar on when she was found. The person who brought her to the vet’s office had found her wondering the street so she must have escaped from the new family who had her.

Did Bull have tags on?
