Axel, my 7 1/2 month old fawn, clearly has an allergy issue. He has what looks like a rash on his belly and groin area almost all the time these days. I mean it might go away for a few days but always returns.
However, it doesn't seem to cause him any discomfort. He doesn't scratch the areas or chew on his feet or lick obsessively. All of that seems at normal levels.
He's also had this same reaction on 4 different foods from 3 different brands (Nutrisource, Canidae, and TOTW). At this point I'm pretty sure he's allergic to grass because the only time it really cleared up was when we were on the Oregon coast with almost no "real" grass around.
So, I'm trying to decide if I should be all that concerned or not. Has anyone had a similar issue?
