can't trust her not to snap at my daughter if she was to try and pull her off her bed cause she likes to jump up there alot.

Just so you're aware allowing a child to pull a dog (any dog) is disaster waiting to happen. At some point even the sweetest of dogs is going to get fed up with this type of behavior. Whether you rehome this dog or not I think you & your family may need a little education on how to properly deal with/ train/ respond to canines.


You have to do what’s best for your family & the dog and sometimes that does mean rehoming. Good luck & keep us posted.

She is being posted in a boxer rescue today and will be relocated in a foster home or new home. This rescue has been wonderful and helpful.

Boxer rescue came today and will post her pictures on the web today.
Everybody has a different opinion when it comes to training a dog what can and shouldn't be done.
I did give it a shot and personally the guilt is bad enough, I feel so bad that she again will be uprooted and have to adjust to a whole new life, I didn't have any intention of just throwing her out into the system as her owner did. Her owner of 5 years has yet to even call on an update, but I have taken the time to try and find the best possible outcome for her , and I have only had her for 2 months , I don't think I have done anything wrong. Inca is a great dog but this isn't the situation for her.
I personally in all my years have not had a dog who I needed to be careful around. I have had 3 boxers and they have been Super dogs that I will miss greatly.
I thank the few who were at least trying to help the rest I can do without. There has to be the critics out there.

Has boxer buddies rescue gotten back to you yet? My SIl volunteers for them and i have put a call in to her about this situation. She is going to look into the fact that you called and haven't gotten any response back. I think with her on the case they should contact you soon.

Boxer Buddies said that within a couple days to no more than 2 weeks they should have a foster home for her. The lady brought a male and female boxer and didn't even try her with the female , but did let her out with her male and said she could be placed in a home with a male so it is usually easier to place them.
I really am greatfull for Boxer Buddies and intend to help support them with donations.
