I would really love to help. Do they have any info on whether or not the dogs get alog with other animals? My biggest fear is that the boxer would not accept my two dobies. It would break my heart to have to give a dog away. Tito looked young enough to fit into our household though. Any other info you could offer would be greatly appreciated. It is really getting frustrating and I realize how much work these boxer rescue volunteers do but I have sent many emails on quite a few dogs and have only gotten one response. I have even filled out another application (as the site recommended - since it has been over a month and I have not heard anything on the first application)

I really have my heart set on adopting. My boyfriend is very close to just buying me a boxer pup just to make me happy.

There is a girl in newnan, ga. She is a boxer mix, but she is so cute. She looks like my dog. She is urgent, so you would need to arrange something soon if you wanted her.

Since the dogs in these shelters and animal control facilities are all around other dogs, the people that work at the shelters should be able to tell you whether or not they get along with other dogs! Just give the number that is under the dog you like a call and start firing questions;) (www.boxertown.com)

Good luck.

Unfortunately - that's a bit too far for me to travel. It makes me so sad - and even more determined than ever to hold out for that perfect adoptable boxer to give a forever home too.

Well, should you decide you want her (or find another dog from the atlanta area off that site) I would be happy to transport the dog to you. I am driving up that way november 27th (I-81 to harrisburg PA), and could meet you anywhere along the way!
