Boxer Pal
I am new to all this posting stuff:), but I have a wonderfull flashy fawn male boxer "Rowdy" (1 yr old) that loves to play "Air Bud" with large oversized balls. He really enjoyed the Wal-Mart $2.50 kids ball that is about 25 inches diameter, but of course it did not last long. I have been searching the internet for an oversized ball that is about 25" around. The largest I have found is 14". He has a wiggly giggly ball, but we are looking for a light wieght ball that wont burst in 10 minutes.
Does anyone else have this same problem?

Boxer Insane
My 3 month old pup Riley has one of those big bouncy balls from Wal Mart. I bought him a marble green one for $2.50. The first day he was afraid of it, but now he loves it. Everytime we go outside he chases and rolls it and barks/growls at it. It's very funny to watch. Because he's a puppy the ball "should" last for a while, once he starts popping them, I don't know what I'll do. Guess we'll have to wait and see!!

At the Walmart here, in the sporting section they have a tennis ball but it is the size of the balls that children play with, (the ones that any boxer can sink their teeth right into). It is made really good, so it should take a very long time before could be torn apart.

I have seen the tennis ball, we use soccar balls because Lexus will try and get it from us and kick it with her paws. Its so cute to see her copy our actions. :D

I was at Petland this weekend and we saw a tennis ball that was about 12" diameter - about the size of a soccer ball. It was pretty pricy - about $20 (Canadian) but I will be getting one eventually. We've gone through 4 or 5 of the big plastic kiddy balls. Even at $2 each, that will add up! And they only last for at the most 2 hours!

There are also those big plastic dog balls with the handle on them - I think they're called "Tuffys" or something? They are like kiddy balls but are much thicker plastic. I've seen them at Petsmart and Petland.

This is where I bought the best ball toy Lacy has ever had.

www.upco.com

On the left side of the page, under "Search by key word", type "exercise ball" and click "go". Lacy absolutely loves this ball. She pushes it around the yard with her nose or her feet. Sometimes she is even able to pick it up in her mouth, and then she struts around the yard with her prize! We've had this ball for 2 years, and it's scuffed up, but she hasn't destroyed it yet!
