There are a few of us boxer parents that like to get together a few times a month...usually on Sundays at Lake Zorinsky, weather permitting. I hope you can join us, or offer up a time/location that you and Chaos could attend a puppy playdate.

As Michelle said, welecome to the omaha boxer owner thread. Hope to see you and Chaos soon.
With that said, we may have another addition to the family.
The Story: There's a lady that works with Elisha that has a good friend who cares for a boxer that is her son's. Son doesn't take care of him and 'Mom' can not handle the guy. So they have been tossing up the idea of sending him 'somewhere'. The lady that Elisha works with told her about it and hopefully we can share our love with him too.
Still very early in the works, it may or may not happen, I just can't see a having to send the poor guy to the pound or have the son get him back and not care for him. Lets cross our fingers for Jager (like the liquor).

Oh My Goodness.....Three boxer kids for you and Elisha! Jager would be so lucky to have great parents (and of course a brother and sister) that would take care of him. You two are so generous to even consider it.
Keep us posted on what happens.
Another option may be the local Boxer Rescue. See link below. They may know of other resources or could help find a loving home for the guy. This is the organization that is coodinating the fostering and looking for a family to adopt Fiona. She is even listed on their website!

I've been in contact with www.midwestboxerrescues.com before we got Apollo. If/when we get Jager it may be an option, i'm not sure if we could turn a boxer down. I'm sure only boxer owners would understand.

First of all, Heather and Chaos, welcome!! We have a 11 month old boxer, Lucky and I know he would LOVE to meet you guys!
Stefan, if you guys aren't too sure of taking on another boxer, we are DESPERATELY searching for one for Tom's parents. They have soooo fallen in love with Lucky since they have been watching him, that we told them we would get them one. We thought we had one, but the deal fell through, and we aren't having much luck. Not that I want to steal a baby away from you, but we know of a great home that a baby could go to!

Stefan, I hope the third works out for you. I think there is good karma for you since I used to have a cat named Jager (yes after the liquor). If you need a contact at MVBR I can send you some info for the lady I worked with there to get Fiona as a foster. I have your email now so just let me know.
