Looking for other Boxer Owners in Omaha, NE

Unfortunately, no. He has improved some, but he still has diarrhea. But, he has also been on a dewormer and antibiotic for the last week, so that doesn't help. We have now switched him to a raw diet, and we are hoping it helps. He is down to about 45 pounds, so he looks really skinny. He is still the same happy go lucky puppy, but we just need to get some weight on him. He still has a few more days of antibiotics, and then he will be on the raw for a few weeks. If it doesn't clear up, then we will have to look at having him scoped.

Sorry to hear that. The poor little guy has had a tough time these last few months. Well, get him all healed up then he will be ready to play once the weather gets nice again.

At least he is enjoying his new diet of raw food. Whenever we get out the patties from the freezer or fridge, he just sits and whines until we put them in his bowl...he absolutely LOVES it! I think it will help a whole lot when he is back at home with us, too. Luckily the house is moving along quickly, and we will be in it by April.

If anyone is willing to brave the cold, I am going to get Brutus and Fiona out at Zurinski on Sunday. I'm hoping in a smaller group Fiona will behave better.

Howie and I could brave the weather for some boxer play time. Did you have a specific time in mind? We could arrive anytime between noon and 3:00.

I will talk to Tom and see if we can make it. My only concern is that it might be too cold for Lucky, he has 0 body fat on him, and starts shivering pretty easily when he's outside. He might be ok though, since he will be running around.

Megan - I have a dog sweater that Lucky can borrow if he is chilly. I'll throw it in the toy/water bag to bring on Sunday.
