Hey Megan, just checking to see how Lucky is doing. Hope he's getting better.

Lucky seems <crossing fingers> to be doing somewhat better. He doesn't have near as much blood in his stool, and sometimes none at all. He has gained back some weight, and definitely has more energy. He is finishing up his pills today, and we will get him re tested later this week! Thanks for checking on him!

That is great to hear Megan. Sounds like he is almost over it. I may have a new edition for our get togethers. I am meeting Lee from Missouri Valley Boxer Rescue today. We are introducing Brutus to Fiona, my first potential foster.

Oh, that is awesome!!! Good for you, for wanting to foster, that is the best! I wish we could foster, but I believe that we would have to have a fenced yard, which we won't at the new place. I can't wait to meet Brutus' new buddy!

Good News All Around

Glad to hear Lucky is getting better! He should be back to his wiggly self in no time!

Also, good news on the potention foster child! Now Brutus will have a full time playmate.

Can you believe how nice it was Sunday?? Howie and I played in the backyard for a while, but it would have been a fabulous day for a boxer bash. Hopefully we will continue to get nice weather on weekends so we can hold year round play dates.

I know, I was thinking the same thing Sunday. Next time we all get together, maybe we can exchange phone numbers too, so we can plan last minute bashes. I hope the weather continues to be nice (today aside, yech)

How did it go with Brutus and Fiona? Im anxious to hear!

As Michelle said "great news all around", It's good to hear Lucky is getting better. Exchanging numbers would be great, we do absolutely nothing on the weekends, other than take the dogs to the pet stores and get them out but not out in the cold. We had a blast Sunday taking them every where man were they pooped.

Mike that's awesome, hopefully all goes well with Fiona, the more boxers the merrier. We looked at doing rescue but decided we wanted the puppy stage, it was a little rougher than we hesitated. Hope the transistion goes smooth if you get to bring her home.

Brutus now has a step sister. I am really excited. Fiona is a beautiful brindle girl. She's still feeling things out here with Brutus but they did play a little tonight out back. She's a very affectionate girl. She does have some mange but it's not too bad. I'm really pumped up about having her here. Once she gets more comfortable with her new environment we'll have to introduce her to all of Brutus's friends. I'll post up some pics of her tomorrow.
