Yes, Howie still goes to daycare, usually on Monday's. Occasionally there are other boxers there, but otherwise he makes friends with just about anyone. There are mostly retrievers and labs in the big dog group, but Howie also has a Great Dane playmate.
Megan - Does Lucky still go to daycare? on Fridays?
The application can be found at the Bone Jour website (can link to it from the Humane Society website). After the application is turned in, they will schedule a time for you and the dog to visit. During the visit they will give a tour, go over rules, obtain vaccination records, and ensure the dog is compatiable with both male and female dogs. After that, you are able to call in weekly to get a day.
Let me know if you guys decide to take Brutus, Apollo, and Athena. We could all arrange the same day some week. I agree with Stefan that the workers wouldn't even know what to do with all those boxers!

Lucky hasn't been going to daycare. Our apartment complex made everyone get rid of their dogs, so he can't live with us anymore. He is currently staying at Tom's parents house. Its awful. He seems to be doing ok, and we sneak him over on Saturday nights for a sleepover. But, they live across town, and we don't have time to drive across town to get him, bring him back to daycare, then go to work. Luckily he is out of his kennel WAY more at there house. Somebody is pretty much home all the time there. I also lost my job two weeks ago, so we just don't have the extra money for daycare right now. I had an interview today, so hopefully will have a new job soon. When we take Lucky, we take him on Fridays. That way he is tired out, and we can go out at night without feeling guilty.

Oh my gosh, Megan! I'm so sorry to hear about your apt complex not allowing dogs anymore. I can't imagine the withdrawl you are going through. No daily wiggle butt? What a tragedy! Hopefully his stay with the 'grandparents' will be okay until you get into the house. I'm sure they are spoiling him as any grandparent would.
Also sorry to hear about your job situation. Sounds promising since you are going on interviews already! Howie and I will keep you in our thoughts!
