Looking for Breeder

I'll be looking to get my Boxer sometime in mid-May and was wondering if anyone knew (or is) a breeder in the Memphis, TN area that might have a litter around this time. This would definitely include most of West TN, North MS, and East AR. This will be my first Boxer, and I'd like to do this the right way (not that all of them arent wonderful)! Just hoping for a little help. Again, very excited to join up with this group! Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Hi perrybl -

Your best bet would be to contact your local Boxer Club. Keep in mind that Boxerworld does not allow the solicitations of dogs, or the promotion of breeders. Per the Rules, the following is not allowed

Solicitations: this includes, but is not limited to: advertising or promotion of litters; sale of pets; and puppy inquiries like "I am looking for a puppy. Any good breeders in California?".

You might want to download, Ian Dunbar's book "Before You get Your Puppy" It's free! It gives you some good tips on what to look for in a puppy. You can get it from www.openpaw.com
