Looking for Boxer owners in Western PA

We have a 17 week old boxer puppy (Daisy). We're looking for other owners in or near Western PA to have play dates with. She desperately needs other boxers to play with. The other dogs near us are Greyhounds and they don't like the way Daisy plays (like a normal boxer)! They get mad at her and snap or they just refuse to play with her. Poor thing! She, like any other boxer, has a TON of energy and needs an outlet with other boxers who play the same way. HELP!!!

Where are you at in Western PA? There is a dog park in White Oak that is really nice. Just look at the thread under Pittsburgh East by Izzy's mom.

We are originally from North Huntingdon, PA. We brought Samson and Hannah there last month and they absolutely loved it!

I'm in Ambridge. I'm so directionally challenged...don't laugh...I don't even know how to get to White Oak. I would be more than happy to go if I could get directions on how to get there. Daisy would be thrilled to have some boxer buddies to play with!!!!

If you live in Ambridge...then I live very close to you! Mya's mom and I met a few weekends ago at my house. Since I can't give you my address on here, i can tell you that I am about 5 minutes from the Northern Lights Shopping Center. I am home quite often in the evenings if you would like to bring your girl over to play. Dutchy is a little over 2 years old..approx 70-75 lbs. You can check him out in my gallery if you would like. We also have Opie, a mixed breed who is about 12 years old. (not exact...he is my mother in law's dog who we take care of). Unfortunatley, this week is pretty busy...I have dentist appt tonight, ballet class tomorrow, Dutch has vet appt on Thursday and we have a rehearsal and wedding to go to on Friday and Saturday. But...maybe we can all make plans in the next few weeks to have another get together. Let me know. We would love to meet you and your girl.

Oh my goodness!!! That's so exciting!!! We're pretty busy right at the moment too. We've got a wedding to go to on Saturday also. Daisy is also not feeling well right now. She's got something wrong with her skin and I'd like to get that taken care of before I put her around other dogs. It just started two days ago and I don't know what it could be. We will definitely have to make plans to get them together to play though as soon as we can!!!!

We should all get together. The winter time would be hilarious with all the snow. I am interested to see how our new boy Fritzy does in the snow. He wasn't very excited to be outside in the rain. So...hopefully he likes the snow a little better. Dutchy just loves to romp in the snow. He just runs with his mouth open and shovels the snow in. It's hysterical!

Hey, I just saw your post, and I know it's a few months old. Skyler and I are in the Greensburg area. If you are interested in setting up meetings in the future, let me know. Skyler definately needs some pals to play with. I usually just take her to Twin Lakes or Mammoth Park. Are there any actual "Dog" parks in the area. My fiance and I just moved back to the area from NJ and were spoiled with our dog park there. Thanks!

I know there are some actual parks around here. One is Misty Pines. I have never been there, but have heard great things about it. There was actually a meet up there but we were late :( Daisy had Demodex which is not contagious and is still being treated for it. However, if anyone would like to schedule something, we'd be more than happy to play
