My fiancee' and I have been looking for a boxer puppy and have had no luck. We live in Delaware and I am a "pro" and raising dogs. Please email me if you or someone you know may have puppies, a pregnant dog, or is thinking of breeding soon.

I tried the link, but it said that it was no longer available. As for adopting, it seems that most of the boxers have been mistreated and that their backgrounds are unknown.

Welcome to BW! Also contact your local boxer club and get a list of good breeders from them.

Yes and No. Alot of our rescues are owner surrenders so that means we do know their background. Boxers bounce back very quickly because they are good natured animals and have wonderful temperments. Just because they have a little baggage doesn't mean the don't need or can't love. The love recieved from a rescue dog is wonderful because they know they have been saved and are greatful everyday lovicon Rescues do get puppies as well every so often if that is what you would prefer. I would talk to some people about rescue before deciding to totally close it out. :)

oh WOW! Didn't see this last night when I posted, well I have one of each a breeder puppy and a rescue puppy. My rescue puppy, Lola, is GREAT.

I got her at about five months old and she's been a doll. She's very lovable and fits in just fine.

Good Luck with your search :)

I have only owned 4 boxers. 3 I got from breeders as pups, one I rescued. I dont know about other rescues, but as for temperment, my rescue boxer has a better temperment than the boxers I raised from pups. The pups turned into spoiled, whinny brats (and I started it, and love them for it) Ramses (my rescue) turned out to love every minute of attention that he got. I did get his background, as he was surrendered by his owner at only 3 months old. Sometimes you get lucky. And rescues are WAY more loving, and they come trained and they're great. It's the way I'm going from now on and I hope you wont shut out this idea completely and keep an open mind about it. Take a look at the link to the site I gave you. I'm sure you wont regret it. Good luck with your decision whatever it is :D
