Yes....I do remember that part of puppy-ville!
I have paper towels in bulk, a lot of cleaning supplies, towels, full size steam cleaner and a mini-version too. :)
Just talked to the breeder....pick up at 1:00pm tomorrow. I was hoping it was much earlier even though they are 2 hours away. Would have liked to have had more time on the first day to spend with her. Oh well it will be fine.

Holy cow, Susi. I think everyone on this board is excited about Raine. All I can tell you is if we could all be waiting at your house when you get home with her I think we would all be in Ohio if we could be. Can you tell how happy I am for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, puppy breath, take it all in. I hope you have that camera ready. We are all waiting..........

Have an absolutely wonderful day picking up your new girl :)

It would sure be nice to have a bunch of aunties here!
I picked up the new food and bought a couple of the cutest little baby bully sticks today. She will have them with supervision of course.
I had a gift card to a pet store so hubby and I went to try and pick out her very first toy. I had been to another pet store earlier in the day and couldn't find what I wanted...not that I knew what I was looking for.
Cami loved LOVED to play Frisbee with the softer material versions. She went through those things like crazy but would never let me throw the old ripped and torn ones out.
When we were at the store I spotted a mini version of the ones that she liked so well. I mentioned that we could get her one and hubby walked away saying "She probably won't like to play Frisbee."
I found him in another isle.....tears streaming down his face and it broke my heart. We left without buying anything.
We are driving home but he passes where we should have turned. Before I asked where he was going he told me we were going to another pet store where we were sure to find something.
We did find something and some day I will put it away just as I did Cami's very first toy the day after we lost her. It remains at my bedside and I touch it each night before I close my eyes.
The closer I get to tomorrow the less I am able to see that what we are doing is right. I know I can't stay in this sadness forever. The new baby will need me so I must be strong.

Oh Susi, alot of us know how you will be feeling tomorrow: happy and sad.

I cried alot after I got Leah and we got her only a month and half after losing Molly. On top of all of Leah's allergy problems, it was about all I could take. Because Leah is a rescue, I knew she would be nothing like Molly, but I hoped a little (ok, alot) she would. Nope, not much at all. Now...that's ok. Leah is very different. I'm glad I can tell seperate stories about each dog.
You'll have many up's and down's and that is why we are here. Share with us and we will help you through it. Don't be sad, I'm sure Raine will prove to be a wonderful new journey for you and your husband.

Good Luck :)

Good luck as your first day of being Raine's mom and dad. I hope that she can bring some much needed happiness back into your home.

I was in tears at the part of your post about the frisbee. :( :( I cannot imagine the pain that you and your husband are feeling. It also made me wish that we had Johann's first toy (a little stegasurus) to save.

I'm sure tomorrow will go wonderfully for you. Raine is going to have such wonderful boxer parents...she is a lucky girl. Looking forward to pictures of Raine in her new home.
