Yes, Silly Tucker, we do have bully sticks in Canada. They tended to give my girl the runs though and they STINK and make her really gassy so I switched her off of them and onto raw bones instead. I'm also a fan of the frozen kong, whether it is peanut butter and treats, or banana and yoghurt... Of course this doesn't last as long with a grown up pup, but is great for smaller guys!

Bully sticks have been a godsend for me. I almost feel like I'm cheating when I'm too tired/don't feel like entertaining the puppy (6 months), because all I have to do is throw a stick at him and he'll be occupied and out of my hair for hours!

It's funny because my senior boxer, who is 9 and has never, ever shown interest in chew toys, always steals his and chews it right in front of his face while he has no choice but to surrender and lightly whimper. It's pretty cute. They both get their own now (though still manage to steal each others).

I have bought them for friends dogs before, tho didn't know what they were. I'm going to look into them more and hopefully find ones that don't smell

Icarus goes crazy for bully sticks. I order 18 inch braided ones online with no odor. He is getting faster and faster at eating them though. Unfortunately he's not interested in his deer antlers.

DEER ANTLERS- do you mean an actual, once was alive, deer antler? Do they slowly break them up and eat them? Or is this a name of a product?

Yes, real deer antlers. Deer shed these annually so it's not necessary for them to die in the process. My boy doesn't care about them yet, but he may grow into it. I should have mentioned earlier, he only goes for the "odorless" bully sticks. If I buy low odor he ignores them. It has to do with how they are hung when cooking, and how much fluid is allowed to drain out. They are, in fact, bull penises as mentioned before. I highly recommend the long braided ones. I've found them for as low as $5 a piece, which is expensive, but an 18 inch braided one will last much longer and is basically like 3 long singles wrapped together. I sometimes alternate the bully sticks out to allow older ones to dry for a few days, seems to make them last longer. Definitely do NOT leave your dog unattended though, since any chew can be a choking hazard. I made the mistake of leaving one in my dogs crate. I saw him go to sleep and figured he was out for the night. When I woke in the morning the entire bully stick was gone, which gave me a pretty good scare. He was fine, but it was a bad idea.

I have read that deer antlers are pretty safe since they can only chip tiny pieces off at a time, since they're so hard. Since they're basically nothing more then Calcium the dogs can handle the small pieces.

Emma adores her antler. I had to give up on her bully sticks because she chews through them so fast! The last few times I had to watch her like a hawk to make sure she didn't gobble up the last 2 or 3 inches in one swoop. I think I still have a baggie of small bully ends

Her antler has lasted over a year now but has been whittled down a bit. She also loves when I put it into her large kong creating a "handle" for it. Just be warned to take it out periodically and give it a rinse.

I've done that with a number of her Nyla bones since she was a puppy with her puppy kong and she loves having a larger base to hold as she chews away on something.

There are bones out there called DINGO bones. Not too sure what theyre made out of but it says its all natural. They are also a little on the pricey end but it keeps my Lexi very busy and she absolutely loves them...
