It was very nice seeing Maxs' old friends Thor and CJ & their moms sunday. It was especially nice meeting that beautiful little girl Bridget and her family.

Thor had a great time with everyone. Sorry we had to rush out of there but he was getting a little rough with the boston terrier. It was nice to see CJ and Max again and it was great meeting Bridget and Apollo.

Hi New Yorkers

We are new to the board. We live in Glen Oaks, NY and have a new 9 week old boxer girl. We want to get her socialized with other dogs and were going to take her to the Petco but she can only go there at 4 months once all of her shots are complete. I was told that they need to be with other dogs earlier to learn about nipping and things like that. Can anyone tell where I can bring her to play with other pups in the area?

Welcome to the Board!

With the weather being so bad I don't think anyone has planned any bashes lately. There aren't many dog parks on the Island but the one we like to go to is Cedar Creek Park in Seaford/Wantagh. It is a fenced run so it's great for dogs that aren't obedient (like mine!)

We usually meet about once a month and we don't have the next one planned yet. With the weather being so bad and the holiday I don't think anyone has thought about it. Any ideas for the next bash??

Sorry I didn't read this earlier...it would have been nice to meet you. I guess the others have been busy. Bridget is dying to meet her boxer friends again. Now with my kids religion class on Sundays, that day will be tough, but Saturdays should be ok for us.

We are good for Sat or Sun after 3:00pm if Possible

Maisey is 11 weeks old and has only had her first two sets of shots. She has to get her final shots in one month. Is it ok for her to play with other dogs? I dont think I can take her to a dog park do you guys meet up just with each other or with other dogs?
