Hey guys,
I guess our thread was cancelled. I am in AZ right now but will be back the 13th. Is anyone available to "bash" the weekend after on Sunday? We can go to Cedar Creek Park. OR, on a previous thread, someone had mentioned someplace in Huntington...Randy, Patti and Max...do you know where that is? I am up for anywhere if you guys want to go. Mike and Susan, how are you guys? CJ is boarding now :( She will defintely want to play when we get home!!!

Long Island

We're trying to get some people to go this Sunday the 13th to cedar creek park at 12pm. It's been a while since I've been on. I was too looking for the Long Island friend board. Where did it go????? I've been busy with the baby but it's time for Duke to play. Hope to see some of you guys there this Sunday. Cranky bunny we'll try to go next sunday too!!!!

Max says hi to everyone. Alex, C.J. must really miss his mom, are you bringing him a toy from az? Sorry so long to post but things got a little hectic. Yes we do know where the dog run is in huntington. We can certainly check it out if you like. Took Max to ct. run last week and may go back this weekend. have to see how Max is feeling as he was stung by a yellow jacket but he seems his old self now.
Mike, Max wants to know how Freddy enjoyed his vt. getaway, post when you can.
Dukes mom, would love for all of us to get together, maybe the weekend of the 19th or 20th. Hopefully Thor and all the other L.I. boxer pals can make it too.

Bridget would love to join your bash next week wherever you meet. I hope Max is feeling better by now. Randy, do you go on the ferry to CT with Max? Does he have to stay in the car or can he go up to the cabin with you? I am originally from CT and have been following both threads. I guess you meet somewhere in Southbury there...that would be a nice trip for us, but of course LI is more convenient. Hope we can meet up soon!!!!

Raygor/ Bridgets' mom, Max is back to himself now, thanks for asking. Would be great to all get together, maybe next weekend, will keep checking posts. The drive to ct.takes us about 2 1/2 hrs. . If you take the ferry from port jeff. it takes about 45 min. to drive to southbury from bridgeport. I was told that dogs are allowed on all the decks but are not supposed to be taken inside where the food and most of the seats are. Max says hi to Bridget.

Long Island

That will be nice to get together next week. Yesterday, I checked out the dog run in Huntington off of Round Swamp Rd. It was okay, but while I was there someone told me about Coindre Hall, a huge 33 acre mansion in Huntington Bays where the property is all open to dogs. We checked it out and it was beautiful!!!! The only drawback is that it is not fenced in. I kept Bridget on a leash, since she is just a puppy. There were many dogs there and even a place for the dogs to swim, if they chose, by the water. There is a dog group from LI trying to get the property fenced in.

Raygur, the info. about coindre hall is very interesting, would love to check it out soon. Will keep checking posts, hopefully the long island boxer pals will start checking in. Max says hi to Bridget.

Thor would love to get together if anyone is around. Please let us know when and where. He's getting hyperactive and needs some boxer pals to wrestle with - sometimes the Pug just doesn't cut it.

P.S. Fred has a new 10 week old white boxer sister named Gracie. He is going camping this weekend so probably won't be able to make it. I'll update everyone with more info when we meet.

Hey guys and girls,
CJ can come out and play this weekend on Sunday if anyone else is up for it. I can go anywhere...I'll go to CT if a few are going. Although most Boxer people are VERY cool...would hate to show up where I didn't know anybody. I can do Huntington, Cedar Creek or somewhere else...
