Lizzie's getting a sister!!!

I am happy to announce that baby Lizzie is getting a sister!!! I ran into a lady at Petsmart and she said she has a litter of boxer pups, she said the mother had one white baby that she didn't want to sell and was scared to give away...she said she was looking for the perfect home and that it would come to her when the time is right!!! Lucky me!!! She saw how loved Lizzie is by me and my family and asked if I had the room/time for her, I said ABSOLUTELY!!! I will post her picture after I pick her up this weekend. I'm hoping since they're both so young, less than 13 weeks, there will be a severely reduced amount female to female competition when they're older... if they grow up together? Any advice??

Congratulations!!

I think one thing that will help them get along is, if you see that one is trying to assert her dominance over the other let it happen. One dog is going to have to be the alpha since they are pack animal. Of course you are the Supreme Alpha.

I think Lizzie will end up being the Alpha, she already pushes the Great Dane around...and she's older than the new baby, I think I'll name her "torrey" short for Tornado (going for a theme, of course) unless someone has a suggestion, under "weather" names that can be shortened?

I also thought of Tsunami and call her "susie"??? I like April Rain too...or Hurricane __________? I guess anything fits there. I named Lizzie Blizzard because she runs around like a white huricane. Where we live we have what they call "Noreasters" storms that come off the Ocean, I thought of "Nora" too. Still have time for ideas, though. Thanks!!

well, I guess Skye wouldn't fit for Weather, would it???

I am getting an afghan hound in September....

I am probbaly naming her Skye, and her reg name will be:

"(Kennel's name) starry Skye of the desert"

Anyway, I just thought I would reply....
