LOL - small and hard is exactly how dog's poop is supposed to be and is one of the benefits to feeding a natural raw diet. The poop is small because so much of a natural diet is digestible - he is no longer consuming all those indigestible grains, so he is no longer passing them as waste.

In addition to keeping his anal glands working as they should (hard poop is natural - and will help him to express his anal glands as they should do, a little with every bowel movement), you'll also notice that the clean up will be much easier. Those hard little poops will turn white and disappear into dust within a couple of days (if you don't pick them up, that is). You'll also notice that they don't stink so badly ;)

*If* your dog's poop becomes too hard at any stage, and he has trouble in passing it, then you can increase the amount of offal or vegetable matter in his diet. That will soften his stools somewhat.

Or just give more meat and less bones!
