Little Miss is a HERO!

I have to tell u all this. The last litter that I bred, two puppies went to the same household!! Angel and Miss - have to be classed as the terrible twins, you can imagine the adventures that two pups can have together, up until yesterday their most recent play involved the bladder of a Queen size waterbed, their owner was only gone half an hour, came home to a house awash with several hundreds of litres of water thru out the house!! Thats okay they were forgiven by their doting owners.
Yesterday, dad's on night shift, mum's in bed, kids all asleep, 2.30 in the morning Miss is throwing a right tantrum, back and forth from the lounge to the bedroom (where Mum, Angel and Bada the old boxer girl are asleep still) Mum yells at Miss to shut up, Mum yells at Miss to shut up again, Mum gets out of bed to settle the Miss to find a log has fallen out of the fire on to the carpet and a small draught from the window has it glowing nicely. Needless to say Miss is on the pedestal this week more than usual. How old is this bitch - 8 months! Now thats not bad for a wee girl. Dad keeps saying well that's because she's my dog, I keep saying that's because I bred her!! We'll never agree.

How about you BOTH share in the precious little one. You get props for breeding such a smart girl. And the owners get props for giving her the love, attention, and training! Sounds like between the two of you, she is a very lucky and happy girl. :D

What a great story! I new there was a reason I feel so safe with my Eddie around!
As I have always said..........boxers are the dogs who act like idiots, come across as if they are not so smart to keep us on our toes.........but they are the smartest dogs I have ever come across!

Welcome to the forums! Miss sounds like a smart and sweet girl!

Do you have pictures of your litter? We would love to see them! Quite a few of the members have had litters within the past few months. The pictures, I just cant get enough!

That is a really bright puppy. Just wait till she realizes that water puts out fire ... she will puncture the waterbed after the log has fallen from the fire.

I know my girl Bandi really starts to bark if she smells smoke also.Ive told my wife I believe Bandi would wake us if the house were on fire.
